What it is
OVG Reading is a 52-week program for comprehensive literacy.
Your child will learn to read–the big words too–in 52 weeks the new 3,000 year old way.
Know ahead exactly what reading topic your child will learn. Then watch your child learn it!
How it works
The Lesson: A one-hour weekly Zoom lesson with Diana Harrison.
The Practice Session: A 20- to 25-minute practice session five days a week.
For young children, the parent, or authorized adult, attends the lessons and oversees the practice sessions.
No additional reading instruction is required. The lesson and practice sessions are all that’s needed to achieve comprehensive literacy in 52 weeks.
There is no conflict with reading instruction provided in school.
Materials
- 12 OVG Readers - Order each book as needed, about one book a month.
- 1 Syllable Trains - At four months into the program.
- 1 Practice Book
Enrollment
Ages 5½ to adult.
Readiness: uppercase and lowercase letter identification at random. If needed, we can help with this.
Pricing
ONLY PAY FOR WHAT YOU USE
The Lesson
$50
- Weekly one hour Zoom lesson with Diana Harrison.
- Payment is due 7 days in advance.
- Refund in full when a paid lesson is not used.
The Books
$15
- Per book (includes shipping).
- Each new book is ordered 2 weeks prior to scheduled use.
- Each book to be paid at the time of billing. Books will not be mailed until payment is received.
- Upon request, book payment is refundable if not yet mailed.
- Book payment is non-refundable after mailing.
Missed Lesson
Automatic refund is made when a lesson is missed and not rescheduled.
OVG Reading will make every effort to reschedule a missed lesson, but we cannot guarantee a spot will be available.
A missed lesson must be rescheduled within two days to leave sufficient time for that week’s practice.
Cancellation
We believe you and your child will be delighted with OVG Reading. But if, for any reason, you wish to cancel your participation in OVG Reading, simply do not pay for the next lesson. Or, if payment has already been made, let us know you wish to cancel and we will issue your refund.
